In the starting blocks

The snow and ice began to melt yesterday, and hopefully the roads won't be too bad today - Christmas has happened, and tomorrow is a bank holiday, so we're hoping that most people will already be where they were travelling to for Christmas and won't be on their way home again yet. So we're off to my SIL's this morning, and should be back in time for DH's next driving lesson on Tuesday afternoon.
