Guess who can't sleep...

Could 4:45 am be the worst time ever to have to give yourself an injection you're a bit nervous about? I've been awake since about 3, and gave up trying to get back to sleep at 4:15. I've been lying there worrying about whether I'll ovulate before they manage to get in there to take my egg, whether the follicles will have anything in them, whether the eggs will be any good if they do, whether any of them will fertilise...

Better get the stuff out of the fridge and get myself ready for the jab now.

  1. Was thinking of you before I went to bed, and now I'm hoping the injection went well. XXXXXXXXXXXXX

  2. I totally agree. We were lucky that I had to trigger just past midnight so at least I could stay up for that. I was so worried that if it was in the middle of the night I'd forget to wake up or the alarm clock wouldn't work or something horrible. Even though you've been laying awake for a while, at least you won't sleep through your trigger!!

  3. We are definitely on the same page. I leave for the clinic in about 30 minutes and I'm frightened beyond reason that I've gone and ovulated early. Let's hope that isn't the case for either of us. :)
